Hi, I'm Raven!

UI/UX designer with a background in Software Engineer and working experience within the social media industry. Designing has allowed me to express my creative ideas from illustrating, video creation, and even app design. As a creative myself, using tools to streamline my works has been a time saver. Now it's my turn to design smooth and stress free tools that people can rely on.

Activities I do to feel content:
📖 Started reading a fantasy book series called "Throne of Glass"
🎥 Making short form vlogs.
☕️Go to a coffee shop or a day in the museum (taking a lot of photos)

2025 personal goals:
🗾Visit Japan with my friends!
🏋️‍♂️Consistency, whether if it's working out or cooking at home.

More fun (that are not so fun) facts about me:
My birthday is Groundhog Day.
I have TWO first names.

Key Traits

Open Minded

Curiousity allows me to have an open mind when others evaluate and critique my work. This trait shows best during the "prototype & repeat" phase of every project. For example, my design lead proposed the idea to further simplify the navigation tab of a mobile app for dentists due to their average age by limiting the number of sections.

Empathize

Trying to comprehend other people's opinions/perspectives is a trait that screams "CAREGIVING!" A designer that knows their target audience will have an advantage when it comes to fulfilling the users' needs. Empathizing is the main focus during the research step of my work process. For example, I was able to reach out to content creators and find problems they face when scheduling their content and come up with a simple solution that benefited them.

Strategy

"Failing to plan is planning to fail" is a quote that I have been implementing into my everyday life. It could be something small like having a morning routine. When it comes to strategizing for a project, I have to check each box within my working process. Research, Ideate, Design, Prototype & Repeat, and Finalize.

Simple

It's the simple things in life that matter the most. Learning how to be content with what I have and the routines I have built is what gives me a sense of stability to enjoy life daily. It is the same when it comes to finding solutions to problems. As UI/UX designers, and it is our job to create the tools that will get rid of people's frustrations in the simplest way possible.

Let's Talk
